Fresh Start Green Smoothie Recipe
This smoothie makes a great fresh start to your day or year! Add a scoop or vanilla or unflavored protein powder or hydrolyzed collagen powder for a boost of protein.
Spicy Apple Cucumber Smoothie
1 1/2 oz baby kale
2 Persian cucumbers
1/2 lime, juiced
about 1″ of fresh ginger, finely grated
3 T cashews (soaked in water 5-10 minutes and drained)
1/2 C applesauce (no added sugars)
1 C water
1 C ice
Place all of the ingredients in a blender in the order listed. Blend on high until smooth.
